🚧 Women in Construction – Inspiring the Next Generation! 🚧

On Tuesday, 25th March, we had the pleasure of hosting a “Women in Construction” social value event at Greenbank High School in Birkdale, alongside our fantastic Procure Partnerships Framework collaborative partners.

We brought along some incredible women working in the construction industry for a speed networking session with the students. In small groups, they rotated around tables, engaging in meaningful conversations about the wide range of career opportunities in construction. From project management to technical roles, we aimed to challenge stereotypes and showcase that there’s a place for women in every part of the industry.

It was amazing to see the students so engaged, asking insightful questions, and discovering the many paths they could pursue.

A huge thank you to all our inspiring table guests, including Andrea Ashurst (Compliance Manager), Deb Peake (H&S Advisor), Debbie Penn (National Account Director) and Sherril Nicholson (Regional Operations Manager) who are just some of our amazing women from Ascot Services.
