Ascot marked Armed Forces Day by sharing the story of one of our employees, Craige Hutchinson, and his journey from the Army into civilian employment. 

Craige’s experience highlighted the valuable skills veterans can bring to the workplace, including leadership, resilience, teamwork, problem-solving and adaptability. 

These transferable skills have continued to make a positive impact across Ascot, and Craige’s story served as an important reminder of the contribution veterans make to organisations like ours. 

Armed Forces Day provided an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the Armed Forces community, while also reflecting on how military experience can support successful careers in civilian roles. 

At Ascot, we remained committed to creating an environment where veterans could thrive, supported by the opportunities, encouragement and inclusive culture offered by our team. 

We were proud to recognise Craige’s journey and extend our thanks to all members of the Armed Forces community for their service and sacrifice.
